You Are Not Alone

It has got to be the hardest thing to have happen to anyone, no matter who you are. To lose someone you love dearly, then being the 1st one to see him like that, is devastating. The way he left just makes it worst.

I can't imagine how you are feeling. To have gone through all that and having to put out a brave front for visitors, shows how strong you are. Like all who have heard it, me and mimi were shocked to hear the bad news.

Can't help feeling a little bit angry, disappointed, at the way it happened. No one deserved to be treated this way. Can't help feeling moody since I got the message. It may not happen to me, but it could have. That's the thing about life. It could happen to anyone. I have always wondered how someone would be able to handle with this kind of situation if it did happen. I'm just sorry it happened to someone close to me.

It will take a long time to get over it, but be strong and know that we are all here for you. Me and mimi wish you all the best, and our prayers are with you.

i HEART Nike!

There is something about me. I love Nike. I love their products, I love their commercials, I love the way they do their marketing. It fortunate that Man U is sponsored by them. I just can"t imagine them being sponsored by adidas. Since I'm having a stable job right now, I have been looking out for Nike products. Currently have Nike shoes, Nike shirts and shorts. Not enough though. Would love to have more. If only I can get sponsored by them. Bad thing is that my gym will be sponsored by adidas starting next year. Kinda of sad, really. Its like cheating on your beautiful wife on a lower standard lady. Just wrong.

I love their commercials. They are just so unique. Have you seen the Brazilian football team commercials, old and new? Simply brilliant. My favourite commercials ever. Alot of other nice ones of course. The Joga Bonito series are a must watch. Feel like taking out the ball and just have a kick about everytime I watch them.

The EPL have started. Man U is having a bad start again this year, but I'm confident that they will get through this. Been reading the newpaper lately and saw an article about the NBU (Nothing But United), versus the ABU (Anything But United). I can't understand why the ABU keeps dissing United. I bet if their favourite team is at the top, they would be boasting at others. Just shut it and concentrate on your own team. Not Man U's fault that they are doing well and their own team sucks. Seems to be that Liverpool's fan are the first ones to diss Man U (or Manure to them. That's SO original, oh grow up, please).

Talking about the EPL, its kinda sad to see managers leaving their post because they were underminded by "Technical Directors". I don't see the point of them anyway. To me, managers are the boss of the team. It is just wrong to have these directors buy and sell players without consulting the managers. I can understand why Alan Curbishley and Kevin Keegan left. Not really a fan of Kevin Keegan, but what have Dennis Wise done after his playing career to let him have a final say over Keegan? I'm so glad that Mike Ashley is selling the club.

Man City is now the richest club in the world. They will be adding to Robinho in the January transfer market with the best players in the world, so they say. I see a trend here, when you look at the Chelsea case. When Abramovich took over Chelsea, Claudio Ranieri was replaced after he couldn't win the title that year. I see that Mark Hughes will suffer the same fate even with the best players in Man City if he doesn't win the title this year. I saw the match between Man City and Chelsea and they seem so far apart in standard. It will be fun to see an influx of transfers in the January market, but I just don't see Man City challenging the top 4. Not in the near future at least, not with Mark Hughes.

iSaiful

This past couple of months have been good to me. Got a Giant bike from my friends, just like that. Thought there would be defects or something but when my dad and me were looking through it, it was in excellent condition, with some minor scratches. You can't even find them unless you look at it up close. My dad, being the bike enthu that he is, started to change some of the parts with those he kept after modifying his own bike. My god the bike is great. It's so light and superfast. Rode it a few times to work, and got scolded from my grandma because of that. Hah.. Would cycle more if I wasn't fasting.

Toned down my workout a lot during this fasting month. Still able to train but not as intense. I get so tired by the time I start training in the late afternoon. Feel like a zombie on the way home after training. Which is not bad since I managed to lose 2kg halfway through the month. I'm guessing I'm losing more muscle than fat.

I was one of the fools who turned up at midnight to get the iPhone last month. Can't believe that I actually queued up for 4 hours to get it. By the time I got home it was already about 4.30am. And I actually thought that I might be among the "earlybirds" I went to the Comcentre at 10.30pm. I signed up for the mio plan and switch over from M1 for it. Actually, that's the reason why I got the iPhone, because of mio (really! Part if it anyway). So far so good, no major problems about the phone. Some minor glitches here and there, but it's nothing a little patience can't solve. The web surfing is superb compared to other PDAs so that's a really big plus point for me. In fact, I am updating this entry on my iPhone. One member told me not to get it because it can't forward sms and there's no mms, but I don't really use them so no point even if the iPhone was able to (and this was already after I got the phone. Lucky he didn't see mine). The camera function is just right for me since I don't use it much. Overall, no complains from me whatsoever, for now. Watch this space.

Love the iPhone, and it will love you back.
